Troop Guides

As the reign of Esteban the Great and E-Bags, the Nearly as Great winds down with the Psychotic Monkeys we need a couple of young men to step in to take on the responsibility of running the first-year program for the Webelos about to cross in. Next to SPL, Troop Guide is the most important job in the troop and we really need high speed individuals to take this over. We have to do some training to get y'all where you need to be, so please let me know soon if you're interested in the job.

Voting Booths

A reminder that we have voting booth set up and take down next Monday and Tuesday at EMS. We need at least one boy from each patrol to help out. Please let SPL Chris and me know if you are available. This is a good opportunity to rack up a quick event and half hour of service.

This Week's Meeting
*************************
Psychotic Monkeys--we'll finish up teaching you about hurry cases and your physical fitness tests (please wear your athletic clothing for this.)

Micah, Keenan, Luke--be prepared to show us what you know about bandaging from last week. Then we'll be working on transporting injured people (each other) and, perhaps, watching the last quarter of the National Championship game Notre Dame played against West Virginia (and won!) from a long, long time ago.

Everyone else-- Please *arrive* at the meeting having completed the following for Citizenship in the Community (requirements listed here: http://www.meritbadge.com/mb/002.htm ):

-- Req 3: selected the public meeting to attend (many of you expressed
interest in the merger meeting tonight),
-- Req 7: selected the charity you'll research and volunteer with,
-- Req 4: selected the issue you'll research,
-- Req 1: prepared to discuss requirement 1

At tonight's meeting, you will:

-- Complete Req 2b by mapping state government organization,
-- Discuss your selections above and obtain approval for issue, meeting & charity
-- Discuss as a group Req 8, the presentation, and determine what you'll do. We might even get in a guest appearance from Assistant Scoutmaster Extraordinaire, Scott Kelley.
